Review summary

Overall, a good experience for a first time cruiser. Staff and service was terrific.

Was not looking for much in the way of distraction, but it did seem that the entertainment such as Burt Bacharach tribute, and other such entertainment was a little dated. A little behind the times. Food quality overall was decent. House keeping good. Ship seems to need an update. I thought prior to departure that I had read that the ship went through a recent renovation. Not the case.

Shore excursion operators would very good with enthusiastic guides.

Ship Quality

We were under the impression that the ship had been completely renovated in the last couple of years. While it was clean, it also seemed a bit dated.

Cabin / Stateroom

Nice cabin in good location. As mentioned above, we were under the impression that the ship had gone through a recent renovation. Little outdated on features and décor. Bathtub caulk coming loose.

I too thought the ship was to be renovated spring 2017. We cruise Mariner end of august. Sorry to hear it will be the same furnishings as 3 years ago. Who is the captain of Mariner now?
