The perforce cast was outstanding (dancers and vocalists alike) and their shows were amazing -- like watching a Broadway production!

Children's Programs

Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin seemed a little smaller in the layout vs concierge suites on Mariner and Voyager, but that may have been due to the different layout of the suite. Overall was very mice with lots of storage space and very nice sized balcony. We did hear the engine sounds almost all the time and at night there was an almost constant "clicking-like" sound coming from the wall near the bed. Ewe got used to that pretty quickly, but I do not recall hearing those sounds (at least, as much so) when we sailed on the Voyager and Mariner. Finally, a shout out to our cabin steward, Clingy, and her assistant -- they were outstanding!

Ports of call

Seward (Anchorage), Alaska

Only embarked their ship at Seward -- saw very little of Seward as we drove to the ship.

Cruise Hubbard Glacier

An amazing product of nature. It was disappointing, though, that the ship could not get closer to the actual glacier -- of course, safety first!

Icy Strait Point (Hoonah), Alaska

We did the whale-watching tour and it was great -- saw lots of humpbacks!

Boat excursion to fishing lodge was fun and got to interact (from the boat) with local eagles, too. The seafood feast (featuring crab) at the fishing lodge was really good as well

Cruise Inside Passage, Alaska

Victoria, British Columbia

We did the Orca Whale Watching tour. We saw some humpbacks but no orcas, The boat was very small and we were pretty much packed into the relatively small space like sardines, It was also wet and pretty dangerous to be outside and on small upper deck (10 people max at any time). So, many (of not most) of us on the tour observed the whales and scenery from inside the boat and the windows were slightly obscured from the sea spray from the boat. The boat crew were excellent and provided superb commentary on the local surrounding sand sea life. I would not recommend this tour of it is on this small boat, especially at a price of $141/person -- not good value for the experience in my opinion. We did not see anymore of Victoria while in port.

Vancouver (Canada Place), British Columbia

We were able to join in a free tour of Vancouver and that was really nice. It is a beautiful and vibrant city and we will look forward to visiting longer in another trip in the future. Our tour guide was excellent!
