Review summary

We love being on the Explorer and Splendor ships and look forward to another two cruises on the upcoming Grandeur. We enjoy being on the ships much better than whatever we do on excursions.

Food and drinks were wonderful except that the food in the Connoisseur wine tasting were far below what we have had in the past. The food was mostly from standard lunch menus and the duck and beef were both tough. We will probably stop doing those tasting lunches.

We enjoyed the shows every evening, and the lecturer was very good and informative.

Our butler Zahid was the best we have ever had in nine Regent cruises with butlers and his room helper Jessalin was also very good and pleasant.

Other than the couple of times that the toilets wouldn’t flush and we had to go up to deck 11 for a bathroom, the suite was spacious and lovely.
