Review summary

Love cruising, some disappointments, but overall a very nice cruise.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Quick and easy

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The food was excellent in the dining and the buffets, no need to go to specialty restaurants.

Onboard Activities

3 out of 5
Enjoyed Adult pool and hot tub when ship was in port.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Not enough stage shows, enjoyed the comedian/ventriloquist and music in Centrum was very good and varied.

Children's Programs

No children.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our waiter Manuel and his assistant Kevin were outstanding. Our room steward Alfredo was very nice and kept our room clean. All other ship personnel seemed very friendly and accommodating.

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
After being on some of the bigger ships, we found the Serenade to have less activities and shows. The layout was fine and it was a very nicely designed ship. It was kept very clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
Our interior cabin was well laid out. Easy to access both sides of the bed with the curved bottom. Had enough storage. Other ships interior cabins have made one side very difficult to access.

Ship tip

Enjoy yourself, take some books, cards or games to pass the time.

Erin2shae it was just too windy for her to get in the narrow passage of Antigua that would been needed. :/ a disappointment we really looked forward to Antigua! (I was on the same sailing)

Thanks for your review. May I ask why the ship couldn’t dock at one of your ports?
