Review summary

The island destinations were a great itinerary.  The service was good but you could tell that it was not top of the line.  The food selection and quality were good but not what it once was.  The furnishings and staterooms are showing some wear.  Overall it is still a good ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
The Reflections Dining Room had a good selection of food for those who appreciate something other than your everyday restaurant food. The Windjammer did not have attendant to get you morning coffee, drinks at lunch after your were seated or getting you refills. They also run out of certain varieties and special foods such as warm cobbler with ice cream.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Plenty to do

Entertainment

There still is a good variety of entertainment in the Tropical Theater and Centrum.

Service and Staff

Stateroom attendant was great. Bar service was excellent.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
The ship design, size, and cleanliness are good although she is aging a bit.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Overall the stateroom attendant did an excellent job but the ships age showed areas where bathroom cabinets were starting to deteriorate because of moisture. The mirrors were starting to flake along the edges, and the shower had chips in it. Overall the cabin was comfortable with excellent lighting and décor.

Ship tip

Don't miss the shows. Use the main dining room for dinner. If you are a Diamond member, avoid the drink package. With the 5 to 8:30 happy hour, the drink package is not worth it. The pool area is crowded on sea days and most lounge chairs are saved early although RCCL does not allow it.
