Review summary

The island selection for this cruise was probably our favorite part along with the excursions. River tubing in Dominica was awesome! Also liked the rum tasting tour. The balcony on the ship was not worth the money, since they didn't enforce the no smoking rule, we had a constant breeze of cigarette smoke and couldn't use the deck. The shows were decent but not spectacular. All around it was fun, but lacked the "wow" they are trying to project.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
They were very accommodating to a gluten free diet for my wife.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
the activities were lacking, there was no rock climbing wall competition. to be honest there wasn't much going on other than the same routine of activities every day. the last day or two was the only thing that was different.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
One singer and one dancer were good the rest were not as great. They sang flat and soft, the trumpet was squeaky and couldn't hit the notes. Nothing deal breaking, but annoying.

Cabin / Stateroom

Cabin was nice, although the bed was flat and had no cussion. Cabin amenities were average for an older ship. The balcony was unusable to use because of the constant cigarette smoke that rolled past or in our door when we opened it. There's no point in a rule of no smoking if it's not enforced.
