We took this cruise to do just that--Cruise. The destinations were irrelevant to us, and that's a good thing. Because the destinations seemed unimportant and somewhat boring.

Saguenay Fjord, highlight of Cruise was missed in the dark. by pete4abw

The cruise was wonderful and relaxing. Only two rough days at sea, but not a problem. The BIG disappointment was transiting the 65 mile long Saguenay Fjord in the dark. Seabourn could have easily rescheduled it to reach it in daylight and leave during the day. After all, they did that for New York. Mimosas and Bloody Marys were served at 6AM as we approached the harbor.

The cruise was average, but that's the sum of some high highs and low lows. Some of the dining and entertainment is absolutely world class. But I would definitely avoid the add-on food beverage choices (we saw staff mixing bottles of alcohol, which is illegal in the US) and the

The only place where tipping was expected was in the spa, so carry some currency with you if you make an appointment. Buy the Serenity package on the first day available to only 10 couples, so you have complete access to all spa facilities every day and a terrific view from the back of the ship.
