A little too early for autumn colors. Once in the Gulf of St. Lawrence there is little population and the towns are remote and small except for St. Johns.

The only place where tipping was expected was in the spa, so carry some currency with you if you make an appointment. Buy the Serenity package on the first day available to only 10 couples, so you have complete access to all spa facilities every day and a terrific view from the back of the ship.
