We notice a gradual decline in the "luxurious" cruising feel that we first experienced while sailing with Seabourn in 2017 to Antarctica. Many positives still exist: all inclusive price, small ship with fewer people, excellent expedition crew and like-minded cruisers who appreciate the bespoke experience. The extra touches, however, seem to have dwindled. Like with all cruise ships post-COVID corners are being cut and some of us have noticed.

Only bad thing which was not the fault of the crew is the ferry which was to take us to the White Pass Summit Scenic Railway in Skagway tour blocked our tender so he could not pull up to the dock and with the tide going out we got stuck. the ferry took off without around 14 of us so we missed the whole tour and ended up back on the boat 50min later.

The restaurant staff did a great job-- hard working, well trained. Be nice to them. Ship has v g laundrettes. Travel light like we did ( 2 bags, 1 duffel (carryon type), 1 small backpack, 1 ladies hand bag.) Extra luggage pieces make accommodation that much smaller! Mountains of luggage shocked us.
