Review summary

More Cruise companies offering better / newer ships which have superior facilities. Horizon Court saved our holiday!! I have never used a buffer dining as much on other cruise’s lines, but due to the poor main 3 dining rooms Horizon Court excelled above them.

The Savoy, Vivaldi and Sante Fe Dining Room restaurant food was poor and the menu selection was badly in need of updating. The Horizon Court buffet restaurant was outstanding. First issue waited 1.25 hours for main course to arrive. When we asked why the delay we were told the food ordered was popular and they had run out and the Chef had to cook more. Second issue my wife ordered her main course again the kitchen ran out had to get from another kitchen in the meantime my main course was left to get cold on the waiters station before being place on our table when my wife’s order arrived. I complained to restaurant maître d - nothing rectified Mainly used the buffet which was far better with better choice of food

Update shower area from shower curtain to sliding door shower. In need of refurbishment everything looks worn out and old, balcony furniture worn /shabby/scruffy

Use the Horizon Court buffet saved our holiday!! I have never used a buffer dining as much on other cruise lines, but due to the poor main 3 dining rooms Horizon Court excelled above them.
