Review summary

For my taste, cruising is to restrictive in terms of sightseeing. Met nice people on board though. Excursions are very expensive for what you get out of it. If you are an experienced traveller, make your own plans.

Cabin was a mini suite, nice and comfortable. Bathroom a bit outdated. Minifridge, 2 tv screens, no tea/coffee facilities

Ports of call

Singapore

Singapore was fantastic, but I stayed 10 days before boarding the ship.

Kota Kinabalu, Malaysia

4 out of 5
Went on a ship excursion which was ok, but to short and restricted (peril of cruising)

Nha Trang, Vietnam

5 out of 5
Great self planned excursion by bicycle carriage. Write down agreed price per person though to avoid arguments later.

Phu My (Ho Chi Minh City), Vietnam

4 out of 5
Went on ships excursion, including lunch. Lunch was ok, but not authentic Vietnamese as advertised

Laem Chabang (Bangkok), Thailand

4 out of 5
Bangkok to far away from port to make it worth going there. Went to Pataya on princess shuttle and then did my own thing there. Nice

Ko Samui, Thailand

3 out of 5
Very heavy rains all day, couldn’t go to any beaches, stayed in the harbour town all day. Good food though
