Overall it was enjoyable except for the massage, the horrid waiter, the price of goods at the hair salon, and the street hawkers. Also there were a couple young women who were allowed to walk the pool deck and the buffet area wearing next to nothing. Did not need to see their stuff falling out top and and bottom.
But it was relaxing otherwise, which is what we wanted.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining
5 out of 5
The food was wonderful! We did not use the specialty restaurants.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
We enjoyed the Sanctuary and Horizon pools that were less crowded. We also participated in a trivia game and watched a couple movies.
Entertainment

Enjoyed them all! Good quality. The duo "Plus Two" needs to relax a bit and not try so hard.
Children's Programs
Because we don't have children.
Service and Staff
4 out of 5
Everyone was polite, friendly, and professional! The only reason for 4 rather than 5 stars was that the waiter in the Da Vinci dining room on the evening they served Land and Sea. He was 1/2 hour late in coming to take our beverage order We waited 1.5 hours for our food. Whenever we wanted to communicate with him, his ONLY response was "IT'S COMING! IT'S COMING!" He would not let us finish a sentence. Most of us at our table of eight gave up and didn't even stay for dessert.
Other than him ruining an evening of dining, everyone else was terrific!
Ship Quality

Took us a day or two to get the hang of the layout. Everything was kept spick and span.
Cabin / Stateroom

It was perfect for us. Our cabin steward did a great job! We LOVED the bed! We would love to order one but see that they are currently sold out.
Ship tip
Don't get the massage. They will try to hard sell you their products instead of just leaving relaxed. Also, they will tack on an enormous gratuity onto your bill without telling you. Don't buy products in the hair salon if you're flying home. They will be confiscated at the airport because they are too large.
Old. Run down. Ugly. Too much hawking. Street and beach vendors WOULD NOT leave us alone, so we returned to the ship. We could not sit down on any chairs on the beach without someone telling us we had to buy something or rent the furniture.
I had a similar experience in the spa on the NCL Gem. After receiving a torture treatment that was supposed to be a reflexology massage, I was coerced into signing my bill while still in the treatment room with a 20% tip added by the very demanding "masseuse".
I was told the spa group is not Princess, it is a third party contractor. And I agree, it is a good place to avoid if you are used to the real thing. Years ago I did some of the spa seminars and was amazed at the amount of bad information they put out (like claiming John Wayne had an autopsy - wrong), that bowel cleaning scam is gone now.
I skip massages and the salon because of the hard sell on all cruise lines. Gratuity is always added to these services. Save your money and get a massage at home for a fraction of the price.
