Review summary

Fun cruise - our first without kids along. Plenty of activities to keep folks busy, and if you just wanted to "kick back"…not a problem.

Embarkation

We mostly handled our own luggage, to expedite things, but there was an hour wait (with no seating) in Houston before the bus could take us to Galveston - bring snacks! once there, it seemed like we walked a lot, through various entry stations, so we were a bit tired & hungry when we got on board, but we made it!

The food was wonderful; so many choices, and generally very good service.

It was nice to have Zumba available, but a little different than it is on land, when the ship is rocking a little…

We enjoyed shows, participated in Karaoke, and went dancing several nights! Highly recommend the band "Symphonee" - they're great, and very friendly!
