Review summary

I have never sailed out of Galveston before, and have never sailed in January before. the days to and from the "Ports of Call" were cold, no laying in the sun on a deck chair soaking up the rays. Four cold days out of seven makes me question sailing in January.

Embarkation

Everything ran well. If I had known that picking our medallions up at the embarkation desk would take so long I would have had them mailed out ahead of time.

Food and Dining

we have cruised with Princess in the past and were disappointed that the food was not to the same level as we had experienced in the past on other ships. Shutting down the soft ice cream at 9:00 is crazy. What happened to the late night buffet?

Onboard Activities

The music on the ship was good but seemed old by the end of the week. It seemed like it was the same every night. There were no pool side activities, what happened to the constant pool side music and games that I remember form past cruises.

Entertainment

The evening shows in the theater were good (except for the tribute to Prince, the performance sounded like a drag queen singing Prince). The ships band was great and so were the ships performing team.
