Review summary

It was really a relaxing and enjoyable experience. Really wish that we had gone to victoria, bc and not prince rupert.

Embarkation

no prior embarkation experience to benchmark. However, my wife and i were in a very long line that had us standing in excess of 2 hours.

Honestly, the buffet was hit and miss. The dining rooms like da vinci and others were great. Room service was not good. I do not know why there is such a difference in taste from the international cafe compared to room service. Really wish there would have been arnold palmers during the cruise.

Onboard Activities

we mainly used the spa (sauna and hot tub). This is because the majority of occasions the one pool that was open was full of children.

Entertainment

excellent performers. I perticularly loved the Hawaiian male singer in the shows at the princess theatre.

Service and Staff

Yumi and Flor where great, they were very attentive. The room steward did a great job but dropped the ball at the end and did not apply the color tag to our luggage for disembarkation.

Ship tip

be ready to fast before and after the cruise, so much food. Also, i suggest you take a stroll early morning around the ship. Taking in the fresh ocean air is just awesome.
