Review summary

The staff at the kids programs (Lodge and Beach Club) were incredible. Other then that, not really a special or impressive cruise experience. Mediocre.

Embarkation

2+ hour line and inefficient process

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Mediocre. Didn’t try any specialty dining, too expensive.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Only one pool was open at a time. This should have been advertised, without two kids I would have picked a different cruise

Children's Programs

5 out of 5
Awesome! My two kids had a great time!

Service and Staff

2 out of 5
Mediocre. No way to get items like drinks by yourself and waiters were scarce. Difficult when you can’t leave kids alone.

Mediocre is probably the best you can expect during Spring Break / Covid, especially if you are comparing it to cruising pre-Covid.

Not the Ruby I remember, but then they may be super short handed with Covid and getting staffing up.
