Review summary

Not much entertainment for people between 20 and 40 years old. Very old and outdated club. 70's music. Pool entertainment boring. Bartenders by the pool never heard of a blue long island ice tea. After explaining they tried to charge extra for adding Curacao to my drink. Ridiculous. Best food was around the pool (pizza, burgers) Buffett food was just ok.

Embarkation

Great embarkation state. Fast an easy. Not long lines

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
Buffet food was mediocre. Service in almost all restaurants was poor.

Skywalkers Nightclub

5 out of 5

Service in nightclub was great

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
Pool entertainment was boring. They were not even trying to engage people to dance or sing. Pretty below songs. Pretty much the whole cruise is oriented for 50+ people. Knitting classes, look 10 years younger class, etc.

Service and Staff

1 out of 5
Room steward never said good morning. Used to walk by you and even I had to say it loud every morning...Good morning sir. He never did it by himself. Rude and never checked if we need anything. Room service broke a bottle of wine while opening. Pieces of glass were inside the bottle and they just left pretending that we were going to drink it like that. I had to call and argue with Manager to replace it. After arguing for 10 minutes I wasn't in the mood of a glass of wine anymore 😠

Sorry for your disappointment, we did the Ruby for Alaska and had a great time.

Thank you Majmom96 :)

With that attitude @MandyMunoz, you’ll love Princess! I have enjoyed every Princess cruise. The service, entertainment and food are excellent! You’ll find some families, but not as many as Carnival, and you will definitely find people your age as well. And if you want night life, they have night clubs! Any cruise is what you make of it! Enjoy! 🍸

I am just over 30 and can’t wait to sail princess for some alone time with my hubby! Carnival is great for the kids but I don’t dig their 70’s designs so it may be nice to sail on a boring ship :)

Not for you, try Carnival.

Princess is not for 20-30 Year olds in general.

Once again, this shows how important it is to research cruise lines in advance of booking so you book one that caters to your expectations. 🍸

No problem. Sounds like you’re better suited to cruise with Carnival or NCL. 🍸

We did too and we got excellent service and the food was great

Sounds like Carnival is more your speed. I loved Princess because it wasn’t a party boat.
