Review summary

Great cruise and I'd do it again! We absolutely loved our balcony room and we will always choose that type of room. The food and entertainment were exceptional! The entertainers were enthusiastic and friendly. We didn't use the pools because it was too cool outside for us but the people using the pools seemed to be having a great time. We chose Anytime dining which was perfect for us. We embarked two hours later then scheduled and that was a bit intimidating for us first time cruisers. We wondered if we were really going to set sail on our adventure. Having the kiosk available to check our balance was very helpful. The directions given to us us for disembarkation and the daily activities delivered to our room was great! Overall we had a wonderful experience with Princess cruises.

We didn't do any.

Entertainment

They were wonderful! The magician was funny and we loved hearing the children laugh at his jokes! We went to the 50's Rock and Roll Night at the Fusion and it was so much fun! The staff production in the Princess Theater was beautiful and the singers and dancers were excellent!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Our room steward, Gerald, took great care of us! He even cleaned our room a bit early on our last day at sea at our request because my husband was seasick. We went downstairs to look at our pictures and our room was clean by the time we got back. The man who brought us room service each morning was very nice and we always got everything we ordered.

Ship Quality

We got lost a few times but overall it was good.

Cabin / Stateroom

We loved it all except our pillows were too big and heavy.

We took the Casino tour which was really interesting and fun. We ate at Maggie's Blue Rose and the food was very, very good!

Ensenada, Mexico

We don't like big cities so we just did a little shopping and walked back to the ship.
