Review summary

As said before as someone whose first cruise was Carnival I had high expectations that were definitely not met. My aunt wanted to try something new but I guess that’s on us. Everything was simply ‘okay’ nothing wowed me. The food and nighttime entertainment were amazing, most of the staff was amazing, and even the movie choices on our tv in our cabins were great. But besides that it’s a very boring boat.

Embarkation

We couldn’t find our room & the maps weren’t clear for first timers on the Princess Cruiseline. It would have been great if there were workers directing passengers.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
All the food was good! I wish there were times posted for the buffet, it wasn’t fun walking in and realizing it was closed.

Onboard Activities

1 out of 5
This is the most boring cruise if you are under the age of 25 and over the age of 17 there is ABSOLUTELY nothing to do. The only thing I looked forward to were the Movies Under the Stars & the Theatre.

Entertainment

1 out of 5
The Whitney Houston Tribute and the Colors Around the World production were the only ones I went to but I wish I had gone to the others as well!

Movies Under The Stars

5 out of 5

AMAZING MOVIES AND PERFECT FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

Children's Programs

My nieces would rather stay with us, they said the workers were mean.

Service and Staff

Our waiters Jimmy and Art were awesome !! and our room steward Ronaldo did a great job with our room. Most workers say hello when you pass them in the cabin halls they make the atmosphere more welcoming.

Ship Quality

There should really be a sign that you cannot take food into the pool or jacuzzi areas that was disgusting to see. & it took me a few days to figure out the layout of the ship, there is a LOT of walking to do

Cabin / Stateroom

super small but comfy and always cleaned well(:

Ship tip

As someone whose first cruise was with Carnival I had very high expectations that were sadly not met. Unless you plan on swimming and drinking all day in the sun, there isn’t anything really “fun” to do.

Ports of call

San Pedro (Los Angeles), California

Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

My favorite day by far, we took a cab on our own and it was time well spent since we had a full 8 hours to do things.

Mazatlan, Mexico

4 out of 5
Hot of course but once you get to the beach everything else seems to melt away. Just enough time spent not much to see anyways

Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

I LOVE Cabo but once you realize you only have 6 hours to spend on their amazing beaches and beautiful pier you lose interest. I wish we could have arrived a little later too, we weren’t very excited to wake up before 7 am.
