Review summary

Aside from our Amazing stateroom employee assigned to our room, everyone else on board was rude or unfriendly. I have cruised using a variety of competitor in the business. This was my wife and I first time using Princess Cruises. We where told that we should expect better service and higher quality care with this cruise. I was shocked with the short tempered and burned out attitude from 89% of the ships members. I was even told by some employees that it was their first month and that they hated it and wanted to go home. This virus of an attitude was clearly felt on this ship. I had terrible service in all ship board dining and buffets that we used. The only quality service was at the Crown Grill and from our stateroom employee Manuel. I don't believe I will ever return to Princess Cruises because of this treatment. I have been employed  in the past as a waiter, bartender and now as a Firefighter. Which has taught me the importance of quality customer service and patients with crowds from different backgrounds and ages. This 7 day trip was disappointing to say the least.

We sailed the Ruby in Feb. did not experience anything like mentioned, anytime dining the longest we waited was formal night 20 minutes and that was only because we wanted a private table they were seating the other anytimers with little wait

We were onboard Ruby January 17-20... there were MANNNY experienced cruisers complaining that something was just off on this ship. Too much waiting, service, etc., they were surprised as this it is not the princess "norm." We will be re-boarding the Ruby in June for Alaska... in nervous about our experience already. 😔

mmorales911, we are on the same cruise as you and I will never do a Princess Cruise again. my luggage was lost the first day we arrived. i do believe if I didn't pursue the matter, I would gave never got my luggage. The anytime dining is horrible. All 3 days we have waited more than an hour to sit and eat.

We've never had a problem with Princess staff, especially when you think how hard they must work and being away from home for so long.

Wow, I was just on the Ruby less than a year ago and just about every employee I met had a great attitude. Of course I only had contact enough with a small percentage of the 1200 crew members enough to know their temperament. Maybe I met that 11% you didn't.

That is quite unusual for Princess. We cruise only Princess and have never encounteted that. Give them 1 more try.
