Review summary
The cruise was great! Ship was wonderful. Staff friendly and helpful. Ports are ok, not spectacular. Puerto Vallarta is run down. Mazatlan feels safe because of police presence and helpful volunteers. Cabo is nice but not much to see. The Sanctuary on Ruby Princess was peaceful and worthwhile. The food is the worse I have seen on a cruise ship in a long time. Quantity is there but the quality was poor. Steaks in Crown Grill are not aged beef and was under seasoned. The shrimp cocktail at regular dining rooms was made with tiny shrimps. Overall quality was poor.
