Super easy embarkation and staff was extremely excited, helpful and ready for us when we arrived. Our luggage was taken immediately so we were able to move around easier and enjoy boarding

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
We ate at the buffet for breakfast and was so amazed at all the options...definitely friendly for all nutritional needs. Our dining room was Allegro which is a bit tricky to get to BUT take the last elevator off of the lido deck (past both buffets and towards the back of the ship) go to deck 6 and BOOM! ALLEGRO DINING ROOM 🤗🎉🤗 Food was so good every night!!! Prego Pizza by the pool on Lido Deck and Trident burger bar was also very good (Trident offers hot dogs, chicken wings, chicken sandwiches, fries) great assortment that stays open until 11 pm. (Btw, buffets are open all day long as well, one or the other will close briefly as they prep for the next meal but there is always a buffet open...also open until 11 pm)

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Princess Live! had fun game shows & karaoke nights. Princess Theater has a beautiful show World of Colors, as well as a cooking demonstration with the Executive Chefs, tour of the gallery (100 ways to prepare a potato), Crooners Piano Bar definitely a favorite place to enjoy a drink and nice music yet still a very fun entertaining pianist. We spent a lot of time in the hot tub when we wanted some downtime from activities...always a great concert playing on the Giant Screen OH and the band was very very good!!! We watched them off midship deck 7 while they played on Deck 5 and the Open Deck Fiesta on Deck 16 the second sea day...always something to do. Effy held a show in which we got free charm bracelets and thought the cruise you could attend different shows and collect charms if you wanted...I didn’t collect them all because there were other activities going on but maybe next time I can collect my missing charms 🤗

We had an interior room and it was very comfortable!!!! We lost track of time in the morning and definitely slept in some days...comfy beds, great staff, room service was wonderful for those mornings we wanted to start with coffee and croissants in bed. Our room remained clean throughout the day as cleaning staff stopped in several times. We had ice all the time as well which made it nice for our water

Ship tip

You won’t be disappointed...enjoy as much as you can because time will fly with all the activities, movies, shows etc happening on the ship. You can do as little or as much as you’d like....it’s a wonderful vacation regardless

The Royal Princess is the most beautiful ship I have ever sailed on. I have been on many ships but this ship is so classy and elegant.

Great review We will be on the Royal in a few months. I have been a bit anxious about the size of the ship since we have only been on the Ruby. How was the weather? We are already thinking about our next cruise. January 2021 might be an option. Again thanks for the great review!
