Review summary

The joy of cruising is to relax and determine your own schedule. We loved the ports. We were thrilled with the sea days since we met more cruisers and experienced life on-board the ship.

Embarkation

This was the quickest I've ever boarded a Princess cruise ship.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The Crown Grill (CG) was by far the best CG of all of the ships that we have been on. The Wine Makers dinner was an amazing experience and taste treat. The menu in the main dining room was diverse and offered something for everyone.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The fitness center has up-to-date equipment. The Enclave in the Lotus Spa was a special treat throughout the cruise. The Afternoon Tea in the Atrium was yummy and fun.

Service and Staff

It seems that Princess has taught everyone to be the epitome of customer service.

Ship Quality

This description from the Princess website says it all about the Piazza: 'Discover Old World charm as you stroll through our breathtaking Piazza—a hub of activity, inspired by the vibrant squares of Europe.' The common areas were always clean and well maintained.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Our mini-suite was in the best place on the shop. The Princess Luxury bed is blissfully comfortable. The mini-suite offered the perfect cabin to relax in while you roamed back and forth from the balcony.

Ports of call

Santiago. Chile

5 out of 5
Santiago is one of the biggest cities in South America. It is an amazing city to learn about. We toured Santiago and stopped at a winery on the way to the ship.

We left the ship at 8:05 a.m. We gathered our luggage, went through customers and were out of the terminal by 8:30 a.m.

Thanks for the review. We’ll be on the Royal in Alaska in 110 days in a mini suite.
