Princess changed the itinerary a few times. We had several days of wind, rainy weather and choppy seas that prevented a stop at Princess Cays, and Dominica was replaced with Grand Turk (good) then with Martinique (bad). Martinique was scary and people were not friendly. I would not go back there. Our excursion in Grenada had a large group of blind and handicapped people that made for a frustrating day for my husband and I. The food was just ok. I'm ambivalent about this cruise for many reasons- it wasn't "fun", but it was very interesting and I did enjoy some of the ports. Our cabin was excellent, and we were on vacation, so that's a plus.

Food and Dining

I had only a few "good" meals on the 10 day cruise. The food was just "ok"- most of it was super bland and without flavor. My Prime Rib was rubbery and didn't taste like beef. The coffee in the buffet was the most horrible coffee I have EVER had! The coffee in the MDR is delicious, I really don't understand why they can't make decent coffee for breakfast.
The salad dressings weren't good, the fruit wasn't ripe. Towards the end of the cruise I FINALLY got some halfway ripe cantaloupe. The pastries and desserts looked beautiful but tasted like they were days old. Not worth the calories. I wasn't impressed whatsoever!
International Cafe

How in the world does this cafe not know what a Breve latte is? Lattes were very inconsistent because they free pour flavored syrups, so one would be too sweet, others not sweet enough
Onboard Activities

Felt like the entertainment was directed towards the geriatric crowd. A little mundane and boring. Wayyy too many skin care seminars.

Service and Staff

Our waiter at dinner did not receive an extra tip, as we are accustomed to doing for great service. I was NEVER offered a glass of wine or bar service, I had to ask for coffee every night after dinner, the waiter wasn't interested in doing anything but the basics.
Our room steward was fantastic and earned himself an extra fat juicy tip.
Ship Quality

The ship was beautiful and kept very clean, with the exceptions of the windows. ALWAYS spotted.

Comfortable!
Ship tip
Bring lots and lots of patience for the elderly crowd- they run you over with their scooters, come to the buffet in their bathrobes, and swimsuits
Very lush, full of culture but scary roads! No right of way laws. We had a great tour guide who knew secret spots to view cinnamon trees, nutmeg, clove trees, and cocoa trees a very interesting
Loved Aruba. We got rained on at the beach, and the eater was too cold to get in, but enjoyed it nonetheless.
Benjamin with De Palm Tours was the best!
I was on this cruise and agree 100% with Treeco. Food was so so in dining room, but very good at horizon court. Especially like the Brazilian food.
We were bounced out of our tour group in Granada by the blind folks.
The most disappointing for me was the lack of the promenade deck around the ship. If you wanted to walk you had to go allllll the way up to the 17 deck and get wind gusted all the way around.
