Review summary
We got off to a bad start as we had difficulty locating the Princess greeter who was standing off to the side and her sign was not visible. She said it was not her job to find us nor help with our luggage, she really was not very pleasant and certainly not helpful.
The ship was beautiful bur our Penthouse Suite was smaller than those we have had on other Princess ships. The balcony was almost impossible to use as it was so small.
We missed the sink in the bar area and the center drawer in the desk and no mirror over the desk. If there are two in a room then there should be two of everything, including two mini bar set ups when both occupants are elite, no matter if you get another because you are in a suite. If this is a benefit for being elite than it should be available to all those elite in a cabin and not just one or to be shared.
We really enjoyed the concierge lounge and the attendant there was very helpful when she was there but her hours were limited.
The service in the dining room was so slow (sometimes three or more hours) and even if we told the servers that we wanted to see the show. Thus sometimes we would not go to the dining room if we wanted to see the show. Sabatinies was very nice and they made you feel very welcome and the food was excellent.
We enjoyed meeting the other travelers and those working on the ship.
The tours were very good and the guides were friendly and very knowledgeable. I use a wheelchair part time and those in the tour excursion dept. were not very helpful unless I really made a point of asking for help.
I would have liked to have taken my granddaughter on a tour of the backstage as she is in theater but I did not see that offered on this ship. The shows were good but a little loud and I heard others complain about this too.
In all, it was a good cruise and we really like the Easy Check.
