Review summary

My husband and I cruised on Princess Cruises once before and were really doubtful about taking  another Princess Cruise, however, we are happy we did.  The ship is absolutely beautiful, easy to get around on, unlike the first Princess ship we cruised on, the food was great, especially the baked Alaska, and every staff member we saw or dealt with was friendly and eager to help.  Our dining experience was so much fun we never missed dinner no matter how tired we were from our tours ashore.  We loved the International Cafe.  The sandwiches were awesome and so were the donuts and tiny desserts...what a treat.  Our bed was a little hard but our shore tours tired us out so much we actually slept pretty well.  All and all, it was an excellent cruise and we will cruise Princess again.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

All our dinners were great but the baked Alaska was to write home about.

Onboard Activities

Entertainment

5 out of 5
The entertainment was very good. The singers were better than average and we loved the puppet act.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
A great group of people. We enjoyed everyone we met.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The ship quality is excellent. It's beautiful, easy to find your way around, never felt crowded, great public bathrooms and appeared completely clean.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
The cabin was a little small but it functioned okay. We didn't spend much time in the cabin, especially when in port, so not a big deal. I would rather the bathroom be a little bigger. The closet arrangement was good, easy to use, and there was plenty of drawer space. Everything was always clean and we enjoyed our balcony.

Ship tip

Definately do your own luggage getting off the ship. Easiest ever disembarkation!

Love Barbados...make sure to see the island. Shopping is good but the island is better.

Take a cruise to the Pitons...awesome.

Basseterre, St. Kitts

If you're a first timer, take the train ride. If you've been to St. Kitts before, take a boat tour to Nevis.
