Refreshing & Relaxing Cruise

Sail Date: April 02, 2016

Reviewed: 7 months ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

Our 10 night cruise on the Royal Princess was lovely.  The crew were very friendly and attentive.  We enjoyed the shows and the outdoor movies.  Most of the islands, St. Thomas, St. Lucia, St. Kitts, Antigua, & Barbados were very nice, the people friendly, and the beaches clean.  We took tours off the boat with the local cabs and it was fine.

Our only complaints would be the food and the small theater.  The food was alright but not as high a quality as I'm use to.  The theater was small and not constructed well.

Overall, we had a lovely time and would definitely go on a Princess ship in the future.

Cabin / Stateroom
Embarkation and Disembarkation
Getting on & off the ship was very congested as everyone ends out outside at the same time--boarding and disembarking. It gets crowded and confusing.
Ship Quality
The middle elevators were a little problematic in the fact there were no stairs and it took a while to get them.
Destinations and Excursions
Onboard Activities
Lots of various activities to participate in.
Entertainment
Service and Staff
Food and Dining
Staff was great. The food was ok!
Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida
Princess Cays (Cruise Line Private Island)
Getting into the water was difficult as it was very rocky. You need water shoes, as I cut my foot on a sharp rock.
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
St. John's, Antigua
If you ventured off the main street by the ship, the sidewalks were very hazardous--holes, and sudden drops
Bridgetown, Barbados
Castries, St. Lucia
Basseterre, St. Kitts
