Review summary

My family and I really enjoyed the Ports we visited - we chose the cruise because of the itinerary.  Had a really great time.

The Cruise?  The Royal Princess is a really beautiful ship, clean and the staff were truly wonderful - they did everything they could to make a person welcome.

Cabin was clean and roomy, everything we needed.

The food was really poor - we started off at the late seating in the main dining room.  Food was cold, uninteresting - in fact the head waiter suggested that we choose off the children's menu.

Moved to the Horizons buffet - much better with a large choice - but still could do the improvement as food was over cooked and dried out.

The cabin was good and rooming, however, did not match the picture of the mini suite in the brochure. Brochure pictures was of a deluxe suite.

jazel, I couldn't agree more. I think we may have to eat more on the islands based on what I've been reading in these posts. Oh well! Hubby & I wanted an adventure and try a new cruise line, but we can ALWAYS go back to Celebrity!!!

we sail on Sept. 21 & have the late seating for dinner. I am thinking of going to anytime dining, but have heard bad things about that too. 8:15 is so late to eat
