This was a great escape for the hustle of NYC.

This was the best cruise we have ever taken. The ship was beautiful and very maintained. The food was good and the entertainment was exceptional in some venues.

We have good time during cruise on Rotterdam cruise ship. Clean and friendly. The Entertainment was perfect!

Great ship, great staff, great ports. Plenty of time to enjoy, ports, spa, pools, casino, entertainment, etc. Enjoyed the 12 night cruise vs. 7

Overall excellent cruise. We’re with a lot of friends. You make a cruise what you want it to be. The only negative was first excursion getting our stickers, directions were different than usual. If going to 7:30 show get there early. Good seats hard to come by. People standing against wall even after they were told to come to next show and that it was a safety hazard, weren’t required to leave.

This cruise was not the best as there was only 2 ports in 9 days. As much as we paid, expected more. The food poisoning was a real drag. Being unable to get a chaise lounge chair was very disappointing. Was able to enjoy The Grand Dutch cafe and a wonderful dinner in Tamarind. Nice to meet some nice, friendly folks and enjoy the ship. Strongly considering canceling future HAL cursing for now.

Secondhand smoke was abundant. Lack of outside seating between 4pm and mid morning. Excellent food and entertainment. Unfortunately the classical music has been removed.

Holland is always good but the smoke was surprising.

We were looking for a 7 to 10 day cruise with great weather to get away from the winter up north. It was a complete success. We had a great time, we enjoyed great service, and as always, the food was excellent. One of the highlights of the trip was going to the donkey sanctuary on Bonaire.

A much needed get away, that hit all the correct marks.

We enjoyed everything about this cruise and we escaped the harsh winter storm! It was relaxing and the weather was perfect. The staff is amazing and made the cruise a wonderful one. Wish Aruba had not been replaced by Turks and Caicos.

It was typical Holland cruise, outstanding service and cleanliness. We were really disappointed in the food this cruise.

Relaxing trip. Eat well. Entertainment good. This is what you are looking for from cruising. Well, except getting off the ship.

I definitely enjoyed myself and would do the experience in a few years!

HAL lost our luggage at the port, spent a week with one pair of clothing. I had to wear UGG slippers at the beach…

Having been on HAL previously I had great expectations but overall I felt they missed the mark for food, dining room service and activities. I experienced some things with the foodservice that were not typical of HAL based on my previous experiences but it is what it is for this cruise. The food was probably at Carnival's level - good but not great. Dining room service was inconsistent depending on who you got as a server. The ship is beautiful though, very well laid out and they did a nice job with the cabin and ship decor. Both excursions were awesome and our cabin steward was the BEST! I will probably not sail with HAL again simply because there are so many other choices out there. I'm not sure if it was just this ship or just this sailing but I was overall disappointed. It was also the most expensive cruise I've ever taken so it made my disappointment even worse.

Our cabin was on deck 5 near the aft elevators. Very convenient to go up to deck 9 and step into the Lido Market and down to deck 2/3 for main dining. Cabin #5179. We scored this cruise as a solid 9. Disappointed in change in itinerary from Key West to Montego Bay, JA. Our transportation from port to town was in a 12-15 passenger bus. We simply wanted an affordable ride into the town shopping area. Immediately upon getting on the bus, the person organizing drop-off & pickup, began trying to ‘upsell’ us to a “highlights” tour and/or to a nearby beach, both costing more money. I, along with others on the bus, tried to tell her that we didn’t want either the highlights or beach options. She just continued to give us all a bunch of double-talk never addressing our request. Finally, we told her we just wanted off the bus at the shopping area. Then, she insisted we pay in advance for the return trip. No, I refused! She got huffy with me but finally agreed to meet us at a specified location and time. While I don’t hold HAL accountable for this unpleasant experience, I will bring it to their attention so they can perhaps eliminate future encounters of this nature. I will never again get off the ship at Montego Bay, JA.

Weather, food, drinks,cabin OUTSTANDING!!! Can’t wait to see you soon again ❤️

We thoroughly enjoyed our HAL cruise. The only thing we didn’t like was the drink card. We loved the Medallion on Princess. We loved our cabin, plenty of plug ins, no need for extension cords for CPAP. Loved the service, ports, ship was beautiful. Length of cruise at 12 days was perfect. I understand 800 people were doing back to back cruises staying onboard. Met many wonderful cruisers. Didn’t get a chance to try all I wanted so much to do but felt very satisfied with what we did experience. Had to return my book unfinished as not enough time. We enjoyed some time streaming movies at night in our cabin.

Always found a chair on the deck or lounge chair even during sea days. Special spa area was awesome as well as sushi restaurant and Rudi sel de mer. Dining room staff goes above and beyond to make you happy.
