We cruised with you too. We enjoyed Costa Rica. Our excursion was ok but it is a working town. Much cleaner than Columbia. All the locals i spoke with were very nice and taught me Pura Vida-how are you, fine, thank you, etc. We loved HAL and hated to leave too! Thanks for your review.

We went on the animal rescue excursion in Porto Limon which included other great sights as well. It was well worth it! Our motto many times is”get out of town” it can be a much different experience🩷

Puerto Limon was a nice town to walk around in. Yes, it is ‘poor’ compared to where most of us cruisers live, but I saw some nice older architecture and a few folks were friendly enough to greet you. But it IS a working town, not a tourist trap like some ports. Glad most of the trip was good, Holland is a bit more expensive but also a lot more laid back and relaxing with less going on than most other common lines.
