Review summary

The UNESCO World Heritage site of Geiranger was definitely the highlight of this cruise. We had very little rain while we were in port or cruising the fjords. The good weather made this good cruise a great cruise.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Easy. Our luggage arrived as we got to our cabin & we met our cabin steward.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The variety & quality in the buffet for dinner was so great that we ate dinner in the buffet the final 12 nights of the cruise.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Finest Pickleball court I’ve seen at sea.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
Shows were good, but we had the same entertainers for both weeks, so we saw the same shows each week.

Children's Programs

No kids with us.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Cabin stewards were great, & our cabin was serviced 2x/day. Hotel manager sent chocolates to our cabin.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Ship was clean & pool was covered by a retractable dome.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
This is a large cabin, with extra room between the TV & the bed, in front of the sofa, between the bathroom & the closet, and on each side of the bed.

Ship tip

The NY Pizza eatery also has some good sandwiches.

This is a very small town. Not much to do other than the Troll Train around town (≈$16).
