Overall it was a good cruise but we have had better experiences on other lines. They don’t put a lot into the excursions, other than getting you on the proper bus or group. Port information was supposed to be on the TV, but there were issues from Day2 and many features on the TV didn’t work. Limited shows to watch.

Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Specialty restaurants & main dining room very good as was the Wave’s Grill. Terrace Cafe -food good but nothing special. We liked that they served you so others were not touching the utensils. Tables & chairs were too close in cafe, hard to walk around especially with food . Very crowded
Some people raved about Afternoon Tea, but it was just the same tea bags that is regularly served- not specialty leaf teas.
Red Ginger

Great experience. Best Sea Bass & sides. Turned out to be our favorite restaurant
Onboard Activities
1 out of 5
Need more variety of activities, lectures, seminars. Not everyone wants to play
games. Felt I was on a floating senior center.
The seminars were just a lead in to a sales pitch to sign up for services or buy something.
Pools & hot tubs are all outside - fairly useless in a cold climate or inclement weather
Entertainment
1 out of 5
Geared towards an older crowd and fairly late. They did have lots of elaborate stage shows - just not our style.
Children's Programs
Not a cruise ship for children
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Room stewards & wait staff were great .
Other ship personnel-not so much
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Ship clean & well maintained. A retractable roof over the pool area would have made it more useable & easier to get across to Cafe, especially in inclement weather.
You could smell smoke from the smoking area in part of the Horizon Lounge & pool area.
Cabin / Stateroom
4 out of 5
Cabin was very clean, decent size with enough storage. Didn’t realize when we booked that our B4 cabin had a tub so the shower was uncomfortably small.
Ship tip
Know what to expect - it’s predominantly older seniors. Avoid cabins with small showers because they have a tub.
Quaint village- we did the Great Lake hike. Had I known where the trail started, we would have done it in our own - it wasn’t worth the $ they charged. Too many people & it wasn’t informative, just follow a college student on a local path
Somewhat disorganized-several guests were a no show to our transfer bus causing a delayed departure to airport. We did make it to the gate with 15 minutes to spare.
