Spent a few days in San Juan prior to cruise. Ship left and came back on time. Ports of call were good in their own way. Lots of kids on the ship. But had to laugh a some of the outfits some of the women wore. Short shorts on some that shouldn't be wearing. Not a good look.

Food and Dining
3 out of 5
Did most of our dining in the buffet. But did do some main dining room on nights when it was more casual; I took a sport coat and long pants, etc., but didn't wear them. If i'm going on a cruise, why dress up? I did have to laugh that when the so-called formal nights were held, a lot of people wore jeans, some wore shorts. So big deal for the formal stuff. If we go again, we would only look for cruises that don't have formal nights and also adults only. I think we were the only 2 on board who spoke english; kidding! Had an experience with one of the waiters by the main swimming pool. Gave him my room card and ordered a drink. After 30 minutes I had to go find him. He said he was working the bar making drinks. I told him I had ordered a drink and that he should have returned sooner than 30 minutes. Not a good experience. Didn't do a tour on St Croix, nor Barbados but the other 3 islands tours were good. Was hard to get used to the humidity however. Barbados downtown area sucked. Mostly jewerly stores. Our room attendant was very good. Give him a raise. Not your call but Royal Caribs. Waiters in main dining were exceptional. Jenrie and Rahul. Didn't do specialty restaurants; Don't care to pay a service charge just to get in the place then pay meal charges on top of that. Same with drink and internet packages. Those are stupid.
