Rhapsody is a small, older boat. It needs some cabin renovations. The public areas are nice and clean. The ports of call were average, however, we went mid September and it was still so hot and humid we didn’t do any excursions at any of the islands. I would like to redo this cruise if it was a different ship and a cooler time of year.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Easy embarkation, took 2 minutes.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Ate in Windjammer. Same staples daily, enjoyed the different cuisines to liven it up. Food was good but repetitive.
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
Only one small pool on an old ship. Did not use any on board amenities.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Nightly entertainment was so-so. No comedian on cruise. Lots of musicians with great variety.
Children's Programs
No children
Service and Staff
5 out of 5
Room steward, cruise and activity directors were great. All employees were friendly.
Ship Quality
4 out of 5
Ship was clean, design and layout was fine but the decor is old and well used even with a refresh recently.
Cabin / Stateroom
3 out of 5
Small ocean view cabin. Small bathroom. Drawers broken. Room was clean.
Ship tip
Old ship, small, needs some love but great for a first time cruiser.
