Review summary

If you have been spoiled on larger size ships you might be underwhelmed with the size of this ship. It’s much smaller and overall the entertainment was second rate.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
Easy

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
Decent, lacked late night eating options.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
We enjoyed the Pub Trivia nights, bingo, and comedy shows.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
The comedy show on the ship was the only entertainment we liked as a family.

Children's Programs

2 out of 5
There were not many activities for tween/teen aged children. The Arcade was run down and lacking.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Exceptional

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
Easy to get around once you know where everything is!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
We had a junior suite—it was nice and spacious.

Ship tip

It’s a smaller ship. Bring your own snorkel gear!

Ports of call

Bridgetown, Barbados

We stayed an extra day to see the sights. We enjoyed a sunset catamaran sailing where we did 3 hours of snorkeling, eating and drinking (Calabaza cruises). Saw sea turtles and tons of fish. It was worth the money.

St. George's, Grenada

3 out of 5
We hired a taxi to take us to all the popular sights.

Kralendijk, Bonaire

4 out of 5
We rented golf carts and created our own adventure. We enjoyed snorkeling at 1,000 steps beach.

Oranjestad, Aruba

5 out of 5
We rented an open-air keep and did our own thing. We did Baby Beach on the Southern tip and did some off-roaming trails at the national park the next day. Saw the caves and enjoyed some breathtaking views along the eastern coastline. Finished it off with a visit to the lighthouse and enjoyed a laid back beach area where we snorkeled for a couple hours—sea turtles at Boca Catalina beach. Then did some shopping and eating at High Rise Hotel area.

Port of Spain

4 out of 5
We hired an independent taxi that guided to specific places we wanted to see. Took us to Bamboo Cathedral, then to Maracas Bay where we took in the local sounds and ate Shark & Bake (it’s a great local favorite sandwich). Then ended our tour with a trip around the “worlds largest round-about” where we saw all the historical buildings. Then did some shopping on our walk back to the shop.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
Easy.

Appreciate your detailed feedback. Glad you enjoyed your cruise even if it wasn’t a “big ship”.
