Review summary

Overall, the port stops are what make up for the smaller ship that doesn't come with all the bells and whistles of other ships. More ideal ship for couples vs families with kids as they have some, but not as many amenities...this could also be true for singles or those who thrive on busier ships.

Ship tip

Shop legit excursion sites with the locals vs the boat's shore excursions to save LOTS of money! And if you like booking with the ship, make sure you book prior to the cruise sail day for better savings or it will cost you greatly.

Ports of call

Tampa, Florida

Smaller port, but service and security is not as good in quality as bigger ports. Some of the attendants seemed inexperienced and some were even on their phones. Baggage handlers hassle for tips. Time spent in line is somewhat quicker than bigger ports.

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

Locals are friendly and professional. Did a salsa making, salsa dancing, and tequila tasting excursion that was kind of put together, but very fun with the group we had so it was worth it...but costly.

Belize City, Belize

Did cave tubing which was fun. Bus ride is long and hot though! One of the most beautiful ports though.

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

Did the semi-submarine, which is highly recommended. One of the most expensive ports, especially for off-boat food, but the people were nice. They did have the best deals for alcohol.

Cozumel, Mexico

Although very busy (10 ships when we were there) this is always a fun port. The locals are super nice and always make sure you have the best time, though there is a lot of hassling inside the port they do have great deals. Did a cooking class and beach break that was a phenomenal experience.

Disembarkation

Easy getting off ship.

We prefer smaller ships and less people onboard.
