We booked a Viator tour to the Little French Key and Daniel Johnson Monkey and Sloth Hangout. Holding the sloth was awesome and fun. The monkeys however were not. About 6 people were put in the monkey cage and were told the monkeys will jump on you. I was bit 4 times and other ladies too were bit. The employee didn’t seem concerned and the lady who was bleeding he said he could clean it if she wanted.
Little French Key was great, lots to do. I paid $20 to swim with the pigs which was so much fun!! I didn’t notice or feel and bugs but when I got back to the room I saw I was covered in bites so maybe bring big spray.
We booked a Viator tour to the Chacchoben Ruins. It was a hour drive each way and very interesting. The made up cruise town is ok for shopping and having lunch.
Ship boring? Why does it seem that so many people need constant entertainment or they are bored? What’s wrong with relaxing on a lounger watching the ocean go by, reading a good book, doing a crossword puzzle sudoku, taking a nap, etc? It seems that many people have forgotten, or maybe never learned, the enjoyment of just relaxing and doing nothing. A cruise is a good time to put away the phone and tablets and just relax.
