Review summary

This is a small ship in comparison and is an older vessel. It is worn and shows many signs of age and the aging process. Much of the crew acts as though this may be their first assignment or their last chance of staying with the corporation. We had numerous crew interactions that we could not determine if the crew member did not know or did not care about your question. The cabins are small, dated, but clean. The public areas are also dated but clean.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

3 out of 5
Drinks were fine and the food in the Windjammer was good, but the same selections for 14 days gets a little boring. The food in the main dining room was not good and the menu lacking in variety. The main dining room service was good to very good depending on the wait staff you were assigned.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Rock climbing wall was small but challenging. Pools were nice. The fitness center was extremely small and overcrowded most of the day.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Some of the headliners were good depending on your taste in entertainment. The singers and dancers were not the best in the company. The had a headliner that did "hand shadows" and it seemed like everyone was wondering how they were invited to perform - not much to see that you didn't see in 6th grade.

Children's Programs

No children with us.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Overall the service was good, the room steward was very good, the wait staff in the main dining room was 50/50 depending on your table assignment. The Windjammer staff was very good. The bar staff was less than average- the best we can give them.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Old and dated ship but clean overall.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
Small but clean and comfortable. Good location for getting around the ship. Quiet and very little movement.

Ship tip

Deck 3 forward are the best inside cabins as we talked with others on higher decks and they said there was too much movement.
