Overall this Cruise was a big disappointment. I would never want to take a cruise on this particular ship again and in terms of service and cost of products on the ship I think that Royal Caribbean is no longer my cruise line of choice.

Ship experiences
Food and Dining

Food was okay.
Onboard Activities
2 out of 5
Other than the planned activities there's not much to do on this ship. Also, it's very crowded and you can't get to things like certain machines in the casino, space around the pool etc. Plus the availability of any decent TV programming or movies is almost non-existent.
Entertainment

Average.
Service and Staff
2 out of 5
The biggest disappointment on this Cruise was the lack of real service. In the old days it seemed like the staff was more willing to be helpful in the dining room or in housekeeping dept. On this trip it's like you had to keep asking for things or you got ignored. I'm sure the staff did the best they can based on what they have to do but it was sadly lacking compared to other Royal Caribbean and Celebrity trips I've been on.
Ship Quality
2 out of 5
The ship was a little tired in areas. It could use some sprucing up. As far as activities and TV and other things, I honestly would never want to take a cruise on this particular ship again. It is outdated and there's not enough to do if you're the kind of person that wants to have activities or decent TV. For example the pool was being worked on when we were embarking. And it took a a full day before we had a pool to swim in. That's kind of crazy.
Shore excursions purchase through Royal Caribbean were not nearly as long as they were purported to be. Plus they were overpriced and not as good as the brochure Legend of believe they would be.
Again scheduling because of the fact that we had to Tender into Belize was kind of ridiculous. You really couldn't go on a Shore Excursion and go into Belize. Plus again the shore excursions were very expensive and not very good.
This was fine except that when we got off the ship there was Royal Caribbean selling transfer the airport for $18 and independent cab driver selling transfers to the airport for $8 a person. And we paid the more expensive price because we didn't see the cabbies at first and then we ended up sitting on the bus for a half hour before it took off. Royal Caribbean's transfer service should at least be competitive with the local market instead of being higher-priced.
Service, entertainment and other things are no longer what the used to be on most cruise lines, especially from 20-30 years ago. That said, cruising is still one of the most affordable vacations when you compare it to other options. The older / smaller ships don’t have all the latest bells and whistles, but also are usually less crowded and less expensive for the same itinerary on the newer ships.
