Review summary

I would definitely sail on Rhapsody again! It was really great for us (a couple in our early 30s who aren't really into partying anymore but also don't have kids). The ports were all great too, as long as we went off the beaten path and kept away from all the shops and stuff. That just isn't our style.

Embarkation

Super easy, even though it is a little chaotic

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
5 stars for all 3 of the specialty restaurants for sure! The buffet was sometimes not very good and the main dining room was inconsistent--sometimes fantastic, never bad.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
Smaller ship, so less to do, but we didn't care about this for the most part. There is a rock wall and 2 pools (outdoor and Solarium), but they were super busy most of the time we weren't in port.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Amazing, super friendly, very helpful!!!

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
An older ship, but very clean and in good repair.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
It was very comfortable and clean. It was small, but you expect that on a cruise.

Ports of call

Costa Maya (Mahahual), Mexico

5 out of 5
The cruise port itself is super pushy, but did have some good free stuff like a nice pool. We used a 3rd party excursion company and saw Mayan ruins and the 7 Color Lagoon and it was amazing!

Belize City, Belize

5 out of 5
Did not spend any time in the cruise port itself, but instead went cave tubing with a 3rd party company and visited the Belize Zoo, which I would highly recommend!

Coxen Hole, Roatan, Bay Islands, Honduras

5 out of 5
Did not spend any time in the cruise port itself. We went to West Bay Beach and hung out at the Paradise hotel. It was beautiful but very busy and filled with folks selling things. They were not rude, but it was pretty constant. The island itself is absolutely gorgeous and the people were so kind.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Spent no time in the cruise port, which was overcrowded and pushy. Took a Jeep all around the island and spent time at Punta Sur, visited a lighthouse, went on a Tequila tour, and had a fantastic time.

Disembarkation

3 out of 5
Instructions were very very bad for those of us taking our own stuff off the ship, so we were rushed out over an hour before we thought we had to go. Lines were long. People were friendly, but the miscommunication and waiting was pretty annoying.
