Review summary

For our first time cruising it was a wonderful experience. Expected to get seasick but didn't. The staff and entertainment were beyond exceptional!!! We would not hesitate to go on another Rhapsody of the Seas cruise again!!

We did not go to the specialty restaurants but the main dining and buffets were great. Our waiters were very friendly but our assistant waiter Bose was superb!!!! He was very personable and spent extra time talking to us, what a wonderful man!

Onboard Activities

We spent a lot of time on the pool deck. There is a bartender, her name is Claudia. She was so much fun from the first day to the last. If a cruiser goes to the pool bar say hi to her from Minnesota!!

Entertainment

We saw a lot of entertainment in different areas of the ship, no disappointments for us. The last night we went to the Farewell Show and we enjoyed it very much. There was a comedian, his name is Tom Foss. I laughed so hard I was wiping away tears! The very end they brought several of the crew up on the stage to say goodbye and we were so happy that Claudia from the pool bar was one of them so we could say goodbye to her one more time.

Service and Staff

Our room steward Basil, so efficient! Every time we would leave our room for a little while we would come back and the room and bathroom was tidied up, every time, plus he was so friendly! The service from all of the wait staff from the buffet to the main dining room was excellent! ALL of the ships personnel was so efficient and super friendly!! Bill and Gemma and the entertainment staff were wonderful!

Very clean, the housekeeping staff were always cleaning and making sure everything looked good and it did.

Both my husband and I were expecting our cabin to be smaller than it was so we were pleasantly surprised! Our room attendant Basil was exceptional!!!
