Review summary

Absolutely amazing. A once in a lifetime experience made even better the crew, staff and other guests aboard. Really, really well done and I will definitely be traveling with Royal Caribbean again.

Embarkation

5 out of 5
I went into this experience expecting to be let down. I was more than pleasantly surprised how amazing everything was, from the ports of call to the efficiency on and off the ship. I honestly can't say enough just how amazing the whole thing was.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
The buffets, restaurants and bars were all top notch. I couldn't have been more pleased with quality and selection options that were provided.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
The pool and hot tubs were all we really experienced because of personal preference but they did the trick and we were very pleased with the cleanliness, temperature and the fact they were never over packed with people. Very well done.

Entertainment

We didn't experience any shows because of personal preference.

Children's Programs

We didn't have children with so this doesn't pertain to our experience.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
The staff on the Rhapsody of the Seas is second to none. Marcell McKenzie who was a beverage team member is without question the sole reason my opinion of the trip is so high. That man is extremely good at his job and works tirelessly to make sure everyone on the ship is having the time of their lives...all with a very uplifting personality and smile. The other staff we experienced was also very professional and courteous but Marcell is in a league of his own.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The design and cleanliness of the ship was very good. Not much more to say than it exceeded my expectations.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Nothing much to say, clean room with just enough room for our stuff and to sleep. We didn't spend much time in our room so it did exactly what it was meant to do.

Ship tip

The only piece of advice I would offer is to talk to as many people as possible. Ship crew and patrons. The personalities and experiences the people have and share are what really make this experience once in a lifetime.

Ports of call

Venice, Italy

5 out of 5
We stayed four days in Venice before boarding the ship so our experience will vary wildly against others but the city itself is amazing beyond words. So unique it must be experienced and seen with your own eyes. Any review or pictures do not serve this city the justice it really deserves.

Kotor, Montenegro

5 out of 5
Very beautiful scenery. The city itself didn't have much to offer but the scenery in and of itself is breathtaking.

Corfu, Greece Did not visit port

We slept in on this morning and didn't get off the ship. But again the scenery was still very beautiful.

Piraeus (Athens), Greece

5 out of 5
Best port of call without question. My piece of advice is to walk inland past all the hustle and find a taxi driver to take you around the city. They are experienced, knowledgeable and will show you the best stuff to see on your own personal excursion at a much better price than anywhere else.

Mykonos, Greece

5 out of 5
Beautiful beaches but that's about it. DO NOT RENT A CAR HERE! Our personal experience was not good here but mostly because of the car rental disaster. Plus there just isn't much to see except for the beaches. Take a taxi to wherever you want to go.

Argostoli, Kefalonia, Greece

5 out of 5
Make sure to walk inland about a quarter mile to one of the travel agencies on the island and take the bus tour that goes to the cave and then a beach swim. The beach they take you to is secluded and one of the most serene places on earth.

Disembarkation

Loved every single second and experience on this trip. Cannot speak highly enough about the whole thing.

The best staff member on the ship...Marcell McKenzie
