Review summary

It is worth the money paid. itinerary is very interesting , the ship is good and service is excellent in most cases. Entertainment is mediocre . Good pools -one is covered , and four Jacuzzis. Food is OK but nothing special . Surprisingly , upgrades of food are offered in the free dining room for additional cost. Why do they do that? If someone wants to indulge , there are different restaurants on board that serve meals for fees.

ALso, kind of cheap that no body lotion is provided . It is expected as a given and creates inconvenience. Of course, lotion can be purchased in the ship shop.

Cabin was good but noisylate at night because of band music right above it. The cabin was not always made up by the time we returned at night. No lotion was available for our cabin category, said our maid.

Ship tip

Make sure to have your own hair conditioner and body lotion because it is provided by Royal Caribbean.

Just got home from this ship and I don't believe there has been any refurbishments made lately. This ship is dated.

Rhapsody of the Seas was the first ship we ever cruised on, and that was back in October 1999. It made an absolutely fabulous impression on us! Two refurbishments later, I am excited to see her again! We will be on the February 24th 2017 Cruise! :-)

I read December 2016. It was last refurbished in 2012.
