Although this was an older ship and not as deck out in its finery, it was a delightful trip! We took the Whale Watching Excursion in Juneau and the Train Trip Excursion up the mountain in Skagway. Although they had to convince the 6 of us that we each saw a whale on the whale watching trip, it was fun. But the train ride was great! The views were indescribible! The shows and activities on the ship were very good. We laughed so hard at some of the participation games - a great time. Always love Royal Caribbean trips!

Food was good, but we has a problem with our 6-person setting (3 couples came as a group). They only had a 4-person table, so to compensate, they sat the 3rd couple off to the side. Whatever couple sat at the off-side table, did not get good service. It was like that 3rd couple was not there. They had to ask for something to drink, no re-fills were ever offered and when they were asked for, the drinks were never delivered. No one ever came by and asked the 3rd seated couple how their meal was on any of the nights we ate in the dining room. Needless to say, we were all quire disappointed with the Dining Room this trip and its very hard to have a conversation or share in the experience if you have to keep turnign your head around to try to talk to the 3rd couple at a table behind and to your side.

aonly the experience we had in the Dining Room - the staff just didn't stand up to past experience - and we had 1st time cruisers with us.

Not quite a well kept as others, but still a good ship. For a trip that all about the views, we found is a shame that the windows were always in need of cleaning.
