Surreal French Polynesian Cruise by minnie51

Sail date: / Traveled as: Large Group
Ship: Regatta / Destination: South Pacific - Tahiti

We found French Polynesia absolutely beautiful with some of the friendliest people on earth. The local cuisine on the islands was so fresh and delicious. Oceania did try to make the best of a potentially bad situation. I commend their guidelines for sanitizing and prevention measures. I wish we could have gone to Bora Bora but the circumstances were understandable.

Beautiful South Pacific Cruise by JulieKeane

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Regatta / Destination: South Pacific - Tahiti

This was a very nice older ship. Not much to do and very little shopping available. Bring whatever you need because you won't find it on this ship. They kept it very clean. Buffet was excellent. Ports were beautiful. Water was very warm. Stays around 85 degrees all year round according to a local. People on the islands were nice. Most speak English. If you go to a market, there usually will be an English interpreter around somewhere.

Beautiful cruise, spoilt slightly by port changes due to COVID-19 by daviddwells

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Regatta / Destination: South Pacific

A very pampered cruise experience, especially if you like your food. Virtually everything is included, so the balance on your account on disembarkation can be a pleasant surprise. The main expenses are drinks, trips, shopping, spa and gambling, all of which you can have control of if you wish. Even the self service laundry is free.

Was not what I expected by cherwood

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Regatta / Destination: South Pacific

Embarkation took way to long, what takes so long to get rooms ready waiting to 3:pm is just not right. You ask how many cruises I have been on well that was #55.

Trip of a lifetime by BillyJay

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Regatta / Destination: South Pacific - Australia

Oceania delivered on an excellent, unforgettable cruise. Being a smaller sized ship, the Regatta was much more comfortable and no doubt allowed access to interesting smaller ports where the leviathans can't go. The cuisine was sublime. The only word to describe the Toscana restaurant is mmmmm. Crew and service were top notch. Special compliments to our concierge stewardess Rena. The ship and cabin were clean and comfortable. The six excursions were well worthwhile. Overall, luxurious comfort and a lot of fun.

A Great Adventure by JenskiMe2

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Regatta / Destination: South Pacific - Australia

This is now rated as one of our best cruise experiences. The Regatta was always clean, comfortable and a pleasure to come home to after a long day ashore. The service on board is excellent and we never had to wait for a table or make reservations to dine in the elegant main dining room. All the cities and towns we visited in Australia were delightful and and enlightening.

Panama Cruise on the Regatta by arenadiva

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Regatta / Destination: Panama Canal, Central America

This was my first oceania cruise and the first cruise longer than 8 days for us. It will not be my last. What made the trip so enjoyable was not only the staff and the ports of call, but the passengers. They were engaging and very enlightening. On the 14th day of this 18 day sailing, one of the passengers that I hung out with described this sailing as "boot camp." We were either starting our day going on an excursion, or we were getting involved with activities on the ship because we were "at sea." By the end of dinner, I was exhausted and went to bed. I missed alot of shows, but I did get 8 hours of sleep. :-)

Family Cruise to Alaska with 9 family members. by EBNM

Sail date: / Traveled as: Family (older children)
Ship: Regatta / Destination: Alaska

I would not recommend this Cruise to anyone who wishes to travel with a younger family. It is focused for an older crowd with little to no activities. We feel the whole experiences was overrated as advertised.

Wonderful! by poko

May is to early to see bears and salmon unless you go to raptor or bear center where they take care of injured animals. Weather was great, only rained in Sitka. We had such a great time we signed up for another cruise. We’ve been on larger ships but this size was great for us.

Disappointing by louisekorr

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Regatta / Destination: Panama Canal, Central America

We were disappointed in this sailing largely due to the drastic change in itinerary. The service and food in the main dining room was hit and miss. The Toscana specialty restaurant was excellent. The Polo Grill was ok only. On a positive note Oceania provided a bridge instructor and we were able to play duplicate bridge every sea day.

Greatest #1 Bucket List by pkdrum

Sail date: / Traveled as: Couple
Ship: Regatta / Destination: Alaska

I have never heard anyone say, "oh, that Alaska trip/cruise is horrible" and now I know why - the Alaska experience was wonderful but the views and the Alaska people we encountered were awesome. I want to recognize the ship staff - my two sweet little housekeepers were so nice and the whole crew were fabulous. They made up for the lack of friendliness of some of the passengers.
