We normally eat dinner between 5 and 6. We opted to eat later in the dining room usually 7:30-9. We were seated almost immediately and enjoyed leisurely dining experiences. (anytime dining)

Well, I have always had faith in Princess cruises and thought we would have the same consistent service, etc as we have had many times before.. Unfortunately, not this time. I would always recommend booking dining, spa and excursions in advance, if allowed. Otherwise, hold on to your hat and see!

Eat at the buffet. The portions at the restaurants are very small

Do NOT select Caribe Deck stateroom 204. (AKA 10204, C-204, Caribe-204)

Entertainment is definitely geared toward an older crowd. Food and service was great, boat is nice, needs a staircase in the middle of the ship. Love the movies and popcorn. If you have a problem as we did customer service is useless.

My main tip is loyalty to cruising on Princess. Princess has numerous repeat customers and the Captains Circle program is their way of giving back.

grab a lounge chair early because there aren't enough for everyone and even though you are not supposed to "save" a chair, everyone does.

I would highly recommend a cruise on this ship. A real treat.

Don't go

the ship was a bid big for my taste. I feel that there really not enough activities and entertainments to keep a large crowd busy. Also, most activities were at the middle of the ship, not too many activities were use with the theater. Guess service need improvement

Do NOT get off the ship at Amber Cove and don't open your balcony door if you don't want to take a chance of getting flies in your room. It had trash floating in the water and on the beach at the"resort" excursion.

Definitely try the specialty dining restaurants, dining was one of the only good things on the ship.

I would recommend booking a deluxe balcony cabin. We have sailed on the Regal before in a balcony cabin the sofa in the deluxe cabin was a big plus.

Don't miss the food. If you like elegant food here are some examples, beef wellington, grilled lobster and prawns, duck l'orange, pheasant, venison, escargot, mussels, oysters on the shell, etc,

I always eat in Sabatinis and did not think it was as good as usual it was good but not as good as usual

need to book excursions immediately when booking trip. The excusion I wanted was booked for Dominican republic and we ended up with the bumpy beach tour.

Go to the comedy and Marriage Match shows for a good laugh.
radambullion
Make sure you do not get an obstructed view balcony.

Keep your pocket sized ship's map handy until you get familiar with the layout

if you like to drink, sign up for the program that suits your needs, it does save you money. If you need nails done or a pedicure, sign up first day.
