Review summary

After a very expedient embarkation we went to our cabins. My husband and I had a mini suite on Caribe C321. Walked in and immediately noticed how worn it looked compared to other cruises.

Checked out the bathroom, tub was bubbling water and smelled of sewer gas. Linen's were so worn and thread bare, not nice like a newer ship should be. Reported the smell and bubbling tub water and went for something to eat while waiting for our luggage.

The Horizon Court seemed ok the first day, lots of different things to eat etc. Was not sure why the lack of Hand sanitizer was so prominent. But, had hand washing stations.

Moved through the evening.

Went to Symphony dining room for dinner.

So Bland, slow service, not impressed. In fact decided not to go there again unless we had to. This mediocre service, attitude and all continued throughout the cruise. The last evening in the dining room was about the same and after the disappointment from the rest of the cruise, we were extremely sad when we left and wanted nothing to do with it.

By the way, the smell in the bathroom escalated to some some kind of leak either in the wall or toilet or something, kept finding wet floor, urine, in the bathroom and very smelly even after the efforts of our wonderful cabin steward to clean....

Well, I have always had faith in Princess cruises and thought we would have the same consistent service, etc as we have had many times before.. Unfortunately, not this time. I would always recommend booking dining, spa and excursions in advance, if allowed. Otherwise, hold on to your hat and see!

You just sound like a rich snobby person who is impossible to satisfy to be honest. I suggest you develop a different outlook on life because with expectations of perfection at every turn you will never be happy. I had a blast on this cruise line and disagree with everything this commenter has stated. Seriously get over yourself. Bosborn is correct maybe you would like a canoe better.

My wife and I cruised on the Regal in October 2016 to New England and Canada. We loved everything about the entire cruise. No problems encountered at all. I feel as if this problem did in fact occur, that the maintenance staff would have fixed it promptly. Can't wait to cruise on Princess again!

Sounds like you are not happy with anything. The crew work very hard and they try to make things right for you. But if all you do is complain nothing will make you happy. Maybe next time you and your husband shouldn't take a cruise. I have been on this ship twice and I think it's wonderful. The service is top notch

What did the customer services have to say, why didn't you demand compensation or to be moved. A rating of 1 star is pretty shocking 🤔

I,ve been on the Royal Princess and thought the hand washing a stations are stupid, takes too much time, everyone walks past. hand Sanitizer is the way to go
