Review summary

We really enjoyed the 7 day Canada and New England Cruise on the Princess Regal.  What a beautiful ship.  Perfect time of the season to catch the leaves turning color and fantastic scenery.  Due to fog and tides the captain was not able to dock in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada.  We really wanted to see the reversing tides and town but that was are only disappointment.  The ship, food, crew, and room was great. Book ahead and take tours and you will have fun.

Very clean and comfortable. Make sure you bring a power strip to charge your phones and camera. Room always was maintaned.

Ship tip

Try to book your tours ahead of time to save time and money. Some run out and you then are on standby if available. The Regal is only about 2 years old and is beautiful. A large ship with amenities. We did miss our port due to fog and tide in Saint John which was the only negative experience.

I was on the same cruise. It was quite a big disappointment especially when booking this cruise to see this main attraction spot. The captain also made error in judgment and later apologizing for leaving 2 hours early from Bar Harbor, Maine, also a disappointed in leaving early. Cruise lines will not give much of a refund for such a disappointments, unfortunately

This will be my next cruise for 2017. Getting ready for the Western Caribbean one this week. I love the captains they put safety first.

Thank you for posting your review.  It is unfortunate you did not get to see the Tidal Bore. It's interesting to be sure. Oh well, another reason to come back for a visit sometime.
