On the ship, Princess does an excellent job. Prior to cruising, Princess was the worst cruise line to get information about everything, especially port and disembarkation information.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Fine. Very quick and very smooth. However we were required to fill out all of our information before hand on Princess’s app-which was very glitchy, and then it was never useful at check in.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Dining rooms were very nice. Staff and food were excellent. Buffet were very good, though the breakfast selection never varied and didn’t include any location influence.
Onboard Activities
4 out of 5
Played mini golf, had options for shuffle board. Pretty pools and neat outdoor movie screen.
Entertainment
3 out of 5
Wished there had been a little more variety in entertainment. Trivia games were not great. The one multi cast musical performance was very good, but wished they had done more than one show. Single vocalists were very good, but three nights of it was too much. Comedians were very good, just wish their shows had been slightly staggered.
Children's Programs
We did not bring children on this cruise

Ship Quality

Everything was spotless.
Cabin / Stateroom

The bed was amazing. Most comfortable bed I’ve ever had on a ship.
Favorite port. Thought this would be the low point of the port, but turned out to be our favorite place. Did a guided tour of Ephesus and then went to a carpet and silk demonstration. Very interesting.
City is unbelievable. Gigantic and bursting with history. Had a private guide for the day that took us to many of the most famous sites. Grand Bazaar is neat but overwhelming.
Interesting experience. Loved the white buildings and narrow alleys, but wished there was a better way to get to the good beaches. Took a guided tour of island-enjoyed visiting Greek Orthodox Monastery and then walking through the city. Windmills were underwhelming, as was our tour guide.
Incredible history. Great public transportation. Enjoyed the guided tour we had of the Acropolis and museum. Also enjoyed our evening bike tour. Would have liked some better information regarding disembarkation and we would have planned slightly different.
Actually disembarkation was totally seamless and the easiest we’ve ever experienced on a cruise, but the information about it from Princess was horrible. We would have planned our day in Athens completely different had Princess had information on their site about disembarkation or had their customer service given any decent information. This was the worst part about cruising with Princess.
