Review summary

This was my first Princess cruise and just my second cruise so far. The staff made this experience wonderful. I don’t think you can beat the value of a cruise and this one was economical, fun and safe.

Embarkation

Very friendly staff and dedication to keeping everyone safe and well. There were long lines due to COVID testing, but I understand it was necessary.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

4 out of 5
I felt much of the food was under seasoned, but I understand there are many pallets to satisfy. The best meal I had was at the steak house on board and I really loved the Indian food at the buffet.

Onboard Activities

4 out of 5
I enjoyed the game shows, the dancing, the nightly entertainment, gym and crafts. This was a long cruise and they kept us all occupied, safe and happy.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
A few of the stage shows were a little corny, but I appreciated the efforts. I really enjoyed the bands and smaller live music performances a lot. There was great talent on the ship.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
So great! The staff was the best part of the cruise. Everyone was incredibly kind, helpful and nice. I can’t say enough about the staff. Truly first rate.

Ship Quality

5 out of 5
The design of the boat is a little lacking and dated but, I still rated it excellent because of the extreme efforts everyone went to keeping the boat super clean and germ free. Surfaces were constantly wiped, walls washed, buttons cleaned and floors scrubbed. The boat was truly spotless. It was amazing to see the effort and dedication to keeping this boat clean and all of the passengers safe.

Cabin / Stateroom

4 out of 5
My cabin steward was terrific. My cabin was kept very clean and I was happy with the size and amenities. I super loved my bed. They have incredible mattresses!

Ship tip

Bring your workout clothes. The gym and outdoor dance classes are terrific.

Ponta Delgada, Azores

Amazing. I can’t wait to go back to Portugal. To enough time here for sure.

Hamilton, Bermuda Did not visit port

This stop was cancelled.

Ft. Lauderdale (Port Everglades), Florida

Simply got off of the ship to go home.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
It’s always stressful to surrender your luggage 12 hours before you have to leave the boat. I HATE THIS PART OF CRUISING! I wish there was a way to arrange for morning support. I’d even pay for “morning of” support. The port was easy to get through.
