Basically the ship is in need of a face lift. Some of the general areas especially deck 11 and the outdoor pool area. The hot tubs were not working properly the entire period of cruise. food is not very good especially in the main dining areas. many of the passengers fail to follow dress codes while dining and the cruise line chooses to not enforce the rules which makes it unpleasant for all.

This was by far the worst cruise ship I have ever been on... the food was terrible and the pool always closed at night even though it sates its open 24 hrs

We have cruised before on a Voyager class ship so we were a little leery going down a notch to the Radiance class but we were nicely surprised at the ambiance this ship provided. It felt like you saw more of the same people so you got to know people on a deeper level.

I have been on many cruise ships and this was one of the best. I have never been disappointed with Royal Caribbean. Even though the weather was unusually cold and there was occassional rain I still had a great time on the ship. The staff was excellent,the ship was extremely clean and the food was very good. Embarkation and disembarkation went very smoothly.

Ship was very clean and the layout was easy to remember. The service given by the staff was excellent.

Seven hour delay in boarding was quite stressful. We often had to clean our own table when dining in the buffet. This was our seventh cruise, our first with RC, and were surprised to find a service charge for room service.

The staff were not very attentive, seems like they didn't care if you were happy or having a good time. The entertainment as mentioned was unimpressive to say the least. The food in the Windjammer Cafe was fair, not enough selections. The main dining area was good but again staff adequate and the food could have been better choices. We did enjoy a dinner in the Chops Steakhouse where they were delighted to see us and the food and service was superb!

The ship was immaculate, the staff was very professional and friendly. The food was wonderful. I wish there were more hot tubs, and that they were hotter! Pools were very clean, lots of wait staff around the pool areas.

It's been 15 years since I sailed with Royal Caribbean and again they did not fail to impress me. First and foremost, the staff made me feel welcome and valued. They seem to truly enjoy their jobs. The Radiance of the Seas is a lovely ship and after the first day I pretty much knew my way around. The activities were plentiful and fun. The food was good - and the gym had enough machines so I kept the inevitable weight gain under control :-) I enjoyed all of the musicians too - it really enhanced the atmosphere. My 14 year old son had plenty to do and made some new friends. I can't wait to book my next cruise!

The ship was bigger than I expected, having never been on a cruise before. Everyone was well behaved, although there was a lot of drinking. We enjoyed the ship look, especially the day tiles in the elevators. Those were extremely fun and helped keep the days in check for us.

the ship was clean, the people were friendly, the food was plentiful and excellent, and their were wonderful programs for the kids to enjoy while the adults played too!

Even though the good and service were a little above average, we had a great time on this ship. The Adventure Ocean staff and program were outstanding! Our 4 year old son had sooo much fun! He was turned into a super hero and a pirate. Then they had a pajama party and a fake birthday celebration with gmaes and cake decorating. This program helped all of us really enjoy our cruise.

This is the first time we have experienced such poor selection and quality of food. We will now probably be diamond members when we go on the Allure in Feb. We have experienced many of your cruises even the Oasis which was wonderful. This is the first time we were disappointed with R.C. I will say the ship was lovely and the service was very good and we enjoyed the shows.

The ship was very clean and was decorated beautifully. The staff, including our room attendant, wait staff, activities director, cruise director and entertainment staff were fantastic. My only complaint is that there wasn't enough on board entertainment provided for the last day on the ship when we were at sea, It seemed like we really had to search for entertainment. Also, unless you are planning to do a lot of shopping in Cozumel, don't waste your time in going to the "lecture" provided the day before arriving in Cozumel. I, along with several others, attended in hopes of learning about Cozumel and getting tips on things to do; instead it was more of a sales pitch as to which shops to visit. Clearly those particular shops and the cruise ship had a deal worked out.

The ship was dirty on the upper decks, Teenagers running around in the dining areas and screaming, also they charge 3.95 for room service. the staff wasn't friendly in the buffet area. bingo was cancelled during the trip and not much to do on the ship...if you want excitment and fun this is the cruise line for you..try theother cruise line, you know "The fun ship". The quality of the food in the buffert areas is poor..hamburgers pre-cook and sitting under a light. Also we were treated like criminal because we had a bottle of wine in our bag. So we had to go to the bottom of the ship to retrive our bags because they would not deliver to our rooms. on other ship you can bring wine on board but not Royal caribbean......Would not travel Royal caribbean ever again..big mistake..many people on-board were un-happy

We know this ship is ready for an overhall. Am sure it will be even better with some updates.

The Radiance is showing her age, but is still a nice vessel. Usual amenities. Very similar to cruises on other lines. They could use a few more center elevators as there always seemed to be quite a wait, but not intolerable. Spa service was good, but beware of a discount promotion for their "Vitality Spa" that is not very clear. The promotion does not mean the whole ship spa, in the fine print it refers to only certain spa treatments.

We thoroughly enjoyed our cruise on the Radiance of the Seas. The ship was beautifully decorated and very clean. The Schooner Bar was so warm with all the gorgeous wood. We had so much fun with the activities planned by the cruise director. We had a blast at Disco Night. The Spa Pool was elegant and serene. It was such a wonderful place to relax. The food served at the Buffet was a pleasant surprise. Usually you have to go to the main dining to enjoy delectable entrees, but the food at the buffet was excellent. The staff was very accommodating. Everyone was very pleasant. We would definitely recommend this cruise to our friends.
